8/8/2017 Update:  Samuel has been ADOPTED!!!! We are very excited to announce Samuel has found his forever family.

Sammy joined the NBBR family when his previous owners adopted a human sibling. The new sibling came with allergies forcing the family to make the decision to allow Samuel to find a new forever family.

Samuel hit the JACKPOT with his new family, not only did he get a new Mom and Dad, he now has a brand new human sister that fell in love with him the first time they laid eyes on one another.  The family applied and were on a waiting list to become adopters. When Samuel joined Rescue and was placed on the website, his family instantly thought he was “the one”.  The new family had their first Meet and Greet at one of our recent events.  Everything went well and it appeared to be a match made in heaven.  However, Samuel was still on medical hold and we needed time to evaluate his personality to ensure he was indeed a match.  To say that time was difficult for Samuel’s new family is an understatement. They were going crazy waiting to bring in their new “baby”.  Once Samuel was released from medical hold, a second Meet and Greet was scheduled and as the say, “the rest is history”. 

During his adoption his new Dad stated “This is a dream come true for us”. That one statement sums up the new life Samuel will have. He will no doubt be spoiled rotten.

7/27/2017 Update:  Please welcome Samuel to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family.  Samuel is a 14 month old male English Bulldog that weighs 57 lbs.

Samuel joins the NBBR family as an owner surrender.  Sammy, as his friends call him, was purchased from a breeder when he was 8 weeks old.  Everything was going well, extremely well.  Sammy even received great news that his family would be adopting a brand new human sibling for him to grow up with.  However, Sammy’s new sibling is allergic to animals and his family had to make the difficult decision to find Sammy a new home.  They posted Sammy on Craigslist and one of our friends saw him and immediately contacted the family to get Sammy.

Sammy’s first stop was to the clinic to get his vaccinations up to date and to get a complete checkup. Depending on how he feels, he may make a quick stop at the Hollywood Feed event on Saturday, before heading to his foster home to settle in.

When meeting Sammy for the first time, you immediately notice that he is “Large and in Charge”. While Sammy is only 14 months old, he is a big, muscular boy.  He appears to be very low keyed and in typical Bulldog fashion, only does things when HE wants to do them.  Our volunteer noted Sammy will need a family that will work with him on the basics as it doesn’t appear he likes to walk on a leash.  All in all, Samuel appears to be a great guy that will do well in most homes.  Stay tuned for more information on this ruggedly handsome Bulldog.
