Pumpkin was ADOPTED!! It is with great pleasure we announce Pumpkin has found her forever home.

Pumpkin joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender. Pumpkin’s owner is in the military and was being deployed.  Due to the deployment, Pumpkin’s owner put her for sale on NextDoor.  It just so happened a Bulldog Guardian Angel saw the post and knew she had to save Pumpkin.  After contacting Pumpkin’s owner and arranging a meeting,  Pumpkin was purchased and surrendered to NBBR.  THEN Pumpkin’s Guardian Angel took it to the next level and offered to be her foster Mom until a forever family could be found. Well you guessed it….THEN Pumpkin’s Guardian Angel/Foster Mom decided she wanted to be Pumpkin’s forever Mom.  Pumpkin made the decision very easy as she immediately joined the household and settled into the flow. Pumpkin got along with her new foster siblings (both fur and skin), and was just the best addition ever.  Her new Mom said it was almost like she had been there forever and they couldn’t ever imagine being without her.  

This is the best news ever for Pumpkin. Sometimes in Rescue, the older dogs are continually passed over as they are “too this or too that” or everyone is afraid they will pass away therefore leaving a wonderful companion without the forever home they so rightly deserve.   A very special thank you to her family for looking past a few gray hairs and opening their hearts to not only a Rescue Bulldog but a  “senior” Bulldog. Congratulations to Pumpkin and her entire family.

3/4/2018 Update:  Pumpkin has been doing great!  She’s all settled in and getting more comfortable everyday.  She loves to play but resting is her favorite sport!

Please welcome Pumpkin to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. Pumpkin is a 7 year old female English Bulldog that weighs 55 lbs.

Pumpkin joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender. Pumpkin’s owner is in the military and was being deployed.  Due to the deployment, Pumpkin’s owner put her for sale on Next Door.  It just so happened that a Bulldog Guardian Angel saw the post and knew she had to save Pumpkin.  After contacting Pumpkin’s owner and arranging a meeting,  Pumpkin was purchased and surrendered to NBBR.  THEN Pumpkin’s Guardian Angel took it to the next level and offered to be her foster Mom until a forever family could be found.

Pumpkin made a quick stop at the clinic to get a check-up.  We were pleasantly surprised that Pumpkin was in great shape and had already been spayed. She was also Heartworm and intestinal parasite negative.  She did need to be brought up to date on her vaccines, but for a Rescue Bulldog that is nothing.  All and all GREAT news for Miss Pumpkin.

Pumpkin is a lovable happy Bulldog lady. She gets along well with other dogs and is quite the cuddle buddy.  She loves to be around her humans. According to her Foster Mom, Pumpkin will make a GREAT companion.  Pumpkin does well with other dogs as well as by herself.  As 2018 arrives, so does a new chapter for Miss Pumpkin. Stay tuned as we learn more about Pumpkin and as she begins her journey to find her forever family.
