11/21/2019 Update:

Jackie-O here,

To all my NEW fans, please know I truly love ALL Humans both the big ones (Adults), the small ones (Children) and my wiggle butt will show how much Love I have to offer. Also, I need to let you know I do sometimes get jealous when I’m at an event and I see other foster getting way too much attention and I get ignored.

You all take care, come out to the events to say Hi, but please remember to get your adoption or foster paper work started and be patient because it takes a while to get everything done.

Sincerely yours

Jackie-O

Just want to let all my Fans know I’m doing well and looking forward to meeting my future furever family at the next event on Saturday October 12th at the Shannon Brewing Company on 818 N Main St, Keller, Texas 76248.  I can just Taste it already…. Lately I have been winning most of the evening wrestling matches with my foster sister, she might be able to out-run me, she even might be taller than me too; but I can definitely Knock her down when she stops and take back my toy!

To all my NEW fans, please know I truly love ALL Humans both the big ones (Adults), the small ones (Children) and my wiggle butt will show how much Love I have to give. Also I need to let you know I do sometimes get jealous when I’m at an event and I see other foster getting way too much attention and I get ignored.

7/10/2019 Update:

Hello all
Had a great 4th of July celebrating with my fur sister eating, playing and sleeping but mostly we just stayed inside away from the HEAT. You know, all those fireworks I kept hearing didn’t bother me at all. I just slept right through them. Last Sunday, I got up early and Cheered on team USA women soccer to another victory. It was very exciting. But all that cheering wore me out and had to take a little nap.
I look forward to seeing my future forever family Saturday July 13th at:
Richardson Bike Mart
1451 W Campbell Rd
Richardson, TX 75080
Hope to see you at the next event.
xoxo

6/23/2019 Update:

Hello all

Had a great Saturday watching my Foster daddy work on the yard and visiting with all the folks walking by wanting to pet me. But, it got way too hot for me and I had to watch all the action from behind the glass door with my fur sister.

I am super awesome and a really good girl, my foster mom keeps telling me that all the time (unlike my Fur-Sister Zoey). I don’t know what any of that means, BUT IT HAS TO BE TRUE!!!!!

I look forward to meeting my potential future forever family  Saturday July 13th at:

Richardson Bike Mart

1451 W Campbell Rd

Richardson, TX 75080

Hope to see you at the next event.

5/27/2019 Update:

Hello All,

It has been a wild two week with my Foster family coming and going looking for a new transport vehicle to haul me and my Fur sister around in. So far I like the old vehicle with its air conditioner seats, sun woof and I really love when they let the window down so the wind can flow through my beautiful fur!
Life has been good  and with this new food i’m eating,  my coat is much shinier and I am not shedding as much either.  Can someone please send a note to mother nature and ask her to keep the temperature outside at a nice 70%. I dont like the heat, but I do like to lay in the sun and work on my tan.
Well it’s definitely nap time now until next time
Love and Smooches
Jackie-O the Beautiful

4/29/2019 Update:

Hello all

Last Saturday I had such a great time at the brewery meeting new people and the other Bullies. I was really tried when I got home. I had some dinner and then straight to bed! All that fun wore me out. The next day I was back to myself, playing, napping, having a treat or two, same old stuff. BUT, I did surprise my Foster family by jumping in the shower all by myself; You know what they say, regardless if you need it or not you should always take a bath on Sunday!

While looking out the glass door, one day this week, I started thinking to myself, O how lucky I am to have a great foster home where I am loved and a fur sister I can wrestle and play tug with. But, I continue to wonder, where is my forever family? Don’t get me wrong, I love my foster family, but I want one of my very own. I am super awesome and a really good girl, my foster mom keeps telling me that. I don’t know what any of that means, BUT IT HAS TO BE TRUE!!!!!

Hope to see you at the next event.

xoxo

4/15/2019 Update:

Jackie (aka Jackie-O) has adjusted O So well to her new foster home and she just loves everyone she meets, including her foster sister.  After dinner, they play until bed time, or until one decides they are too tired to continue. She likes going for car rides, jumps right-in (sometimes she needs some assistance getting in), then after a couple of minutes of looking out the window, she will sit back, and enjoy taking a short nap.

Jackie-O has also has mastered the doggy door and has not had any accidents inside the house.

Jackie-O will sit on command (O so smart), not jump on the furniture and has a super-fast Wiggle Butt when she is excited, she enjoys her days just being next to you. O, and maybe a treat or two.

3/25/2019 Update:

Please welcome Jackie to No Borders Bulldog Rescue.  Jackie is a 4 year old female English Bulldog that weighs 52 lbs.

Jackie joins the NBBR family, like many Bulldogs do, as an owner surrender. Jackie was recently purchased by her previous owners only to find out that their current Bulldog did not like Jackie. The dislike grew and before long Jackie was being attacked by the other dog.  The family decided that it was best if Jackie found a new home.  So the family listed Jackie for sale on social media.  One of our dedicated volunteers saw her and knew that Jackie needed to be rescued.  A group of Bulldog supporters raised the money necessary to get Jackie safely into Rescue.

When Jackie stopped at the clinic for her checkup there was some confusion.  When Jackie was listed for sale, she was listed as being spayed.  However, when she was examined at the clinic, there was no indication that she had ever been spayed.  It also appeared that Jackie was producing milk and could be experiencing a false pregnancy.   After further examination Jackie was actually suffering from pyometra. Pyometra is a severe infection of the uterus and can quickly become fatal is left untreated.  Due to the pyometra, Jackie required an emergency surgery and several days of treatment at the clinic.  Jackie also had a severe kidney infection that required immediate antibiotics.  The good news is that Jackie was negative for Heartworm and was up to date on her shots. Jackie did well during her emergency surgery and her recovery.

Jackie has been through A LOT in a very short period of time.  She is a gentle soul and needs time to trust those around her. She appears to love everyone she meets. From our brief experience with her, Jackie may be best in a home that is on the quieter side.  Jackie was really sick when she joined NBBR so we will have to see how her personality blossoms as she heals and feels better. Jackie will join her foster family soon, so stay tuned for more information on this sweet girl.
