Georgia (now Murphi)
5/5/2016 Update: Georgia was ADOPTED!!!! Georgia now MURPHI joined her new/old forever home. Murphi has had a bumpy 6 month patch on her lifelong journey. Murphi was placed in rescue in AZ do to a divorce in her family. Her dad had to move into an apartment and that would not allow a large dog like Murphi. She was adopted by a GREAT family that moved her to TX, unfortunately when her new family moved closer to the grandkids it was found that Murphi doesn’t do well with small children. BUT Murphi’s original Dad saw that she was in the need to be adopted again and he couldn’t contain himself. He quickly called and wanted to be reunited with her. One of our volunteers was able to coordinate a fun-filled road trip back to Phoenix The reunion was a joyous occasion filled with tears from the humans and lots of butt wiggling from Murphi. Congrats to the entire family on being reunited.
4/26/2016: Welcome Georgia to the NBBR rescue family. Georgia is an Olde English bulldog that is full of love. She is such a sweetheart. Georgia is full of spunk, loves to get belly rubs, play outside (in small amounts) and generally just be a lovebug. Her one “issue” is that she does not do well with small children (under 10). Georgia has never bitten anyone regardless of size, but she does get anxious when around small children and the stress they can bring with them. Georgia’s family has recently moved back to Texas and has went from a home with no children present to one where the grandkids visit often. The family has done everything they can to relieve Georgia’s anxiety with the kids but nothing is helping. So they made the very difficult decision to allow her to go to a home where she can relax and be herself. Georgia is good with other dogs, she is healthy and ready to find a calm new forever home. She LOVES to cuddle on the couch with her humans. Do you have room in your heart and on your couch for Georgia? If so, what are you waiting for? Fill out an adoption application, Georgia is waiting for you.
