9/10/2017 Update: Please welcome Freddy to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. Freddy is a 2 year old male English Bulldog that weighs 45 lbs.

Freddy and his sister joined the NBBR family yesterday as an owner surrender. The family decided they did not have time for Rosie, so they listed her on social media for sale. Actually, Freddy was somewhat of a surprise. When in communication with the family our volunteer noticed there was another Bulldog in the photos with Rosie. So she started asking questions and determined “the other” Bulldog was Freddy and the family would part with him also. Good Samaritans worked with the family to get the dogs and then surrendered them to rescue.

The first thing you notice about Freddy when you meet him is his breathing. Freddy will be making a trip to the clinic to get his breathing evaluated and to be neutered. Based on initial interactions it appears Freddy may need surgery for his palate, nares or both. Freddy is resting at his temporary foster home where he is adjusting well. Freddy is a sweet, lovable little guy. Once he met our volunteer today, he immediately began to get acquainted and to shower his transporter with Bulldog kisses. He appears to be good with everyone he meets, both humans and canines.
