7/7/2016 Update: Elley was ADOPTED!!!!! What fabulous news! We are so excited to share that Elley has found her furever home. Her new family has so much love to give her. Elley has two human siblings that have as much playful energy as she does and a large, shaded backyard that is perfect for playing fetch. We are certain that Elley will provide her family with unlimited kisses, Frenchie smiles and plenty of that extra special love that only she can give! Elley will have an amazing future with this family making memories.
6/12/2016 Update: Hi there! My name is Elley. I am so excited to tell you that the wonderful people at NBBR introduced me to my new foster family Friday evening. My foster mommy and daddy told me how pretty I was and showed me all my new toys and where they had placed my new fluffy bed. I slept so good Friday night…. I dreamed that I had a new foster brother and sister bulldog and we played and played -GUESS WHAT??? It was NOT a dream! I have them right here in my house to play with and I love them. I played so much, I love to share my new toys with the foster sister. She plays tug a war with me and it makes me happy. My foster brother loves to play too, but then he has to take a nap cause he gets tired. My foster daddy taught me how to shake. That was fun because he gave me yummy treats while we played that “shake” game. After a while I thought I should show my daddy a game that I already knew. It’s called “get the ball”, but sometimes he calls it “fetch”. Daddy was surprised I played it so well!
I’m such a good girl. I can walk on a leash, love to ride in the car, and go to the door when I need to potty. I love other animals, and I love to cuddle with my family, and tennis balls are my very favorite.
Oh, remember on Sunday when it rained and thundered so badly? Well my mommy said I was a very brave girl because I didn’t even get scared!! (My foster brother did – he ran and hid- SILLY BOYS!!)
6/10/2016 Update: Nous sommes heureux d’accueillir dans notre famille une ravissante petite fille. (We are happy to welcome to our family a beautiful little girl. Fear not, even with her French ancestry, Elley is fluent in English AND cuteness.
Please welcome Elley to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. She is a 3.5 yr. old beautiful French Bulldog that weighs a petite 28 lbs. Elley comes to NBBR as an owner surrender. Her family made the very difficult decision that Elley needed a better life than they could currently provide. So they called NBBR and asked that we find her a new forever home. Elley is a very happy little girl and a bundle of energy, she is very social and well loved. She gets along with humans of all sizes as well as other dogs. To say that she has never met a stranger, is an understatement. Elley also loves to ride in the car, go for walks (when it isn’t to hot) and enjoys playing with her toys (especially balls).
Elley like many Bulldogs has allergies. Due to these allergies she will require a limited ingredient diet and special medication to keep the allergens at bay. She went to the clinic today to be spayed and to ensure she is in tip top shape. She is now resting at her new foster home. Once completely rested and healed, she will begin her search for her new family. Elley isn’t looking for the perfect family, just one that is perfect for her. With her personality and beauty, we are sure there will be a long line of applicants.
