7/8/2017 Update: Bella was ADOPTED!!! We are very happy to announce Bella has found her forever home.
7/2/2017 Update: This week has been a little more interesting. Bella no longer has to have a leash when we go out to the yard. She will not leave my side. She jumped in the car with me when I said I was going to get her a new toy. As we were driving through town she about jumped out my window after a bird while we were stopped at a red light. Bella has done amazing with all of my fur babies, including my baby goat. Bella does sleep in bed with me, well more like she tries to shove me out of the bed. She was introduced to my bearded dragon. It went as expected. She just kept looking at him like what are you. She has been great at now having accidents in the house. She uses our doggie door very well. Bella finally started eating about her second morning here. She has started liking a toy (one of my daughter’s baby dolls) she does not chew on it she just likes to carry it around and help my almost five year old take care of it.
6/25/2017 Update: Please welcome Bella to the No Borders Bulldog Rescue family. Bella is a 4 year old female English Bulldog that weighs 57 lbs.
Bella has joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender. Due to changes in her previous owners’ personal life, Bella was spending many hours alone. Combine this with the fact her owners are moving to a smaller place that will not allow dogs, the family made the difficult decision to allow Bella to find a new forever home.
Bella is a well cared for and socialized girl. Her first stop will be to the clinic today to get a complete checkup and to get her vaccinations up to date. From there, she will join her foster home.
What can we say about Bella’s personality??? To start, it is perfect. Bella LOVES everyone and everything she meets. She is a perky, fun loving girl. We broke the NBBR rule of slow introductions with Bella at her temporary foster home. Due to Bella being so sweet, we allowed all the fur kids to meet to see how things would go. Well….. it was a HUGE success, Bella was the hit of the house. She played with everyone, shared the toys like a true lady and was even able to secure a coveted spot on the couch. Bella is obviously good with other dogs and kids. Bella doesn’t seem to be overly interested in toys, she is very curious about her surroundings and wants to investigate every inch. When she joins her new foster family we will see how she does with cats. (Based on what we have seen of her, we are pretty sure that a cat will not phase her in the least).
It appears Bella will be ready to begin her search for her new forever home very quickly. Do you have room in your heart and home for a southern Bell(a)? If so, complete an adoption application!!!!
