10/27/2019 Update:
Pearl was ADOPTED!!!!! We are so happy to announce that Little Ms. P has found her happily ever after.
Pearl joined the NBBR family as an owner surrender. The family stated that they didn’t have time for Pearl anymore and were moving to a new place that did not allow pets. We didn’t need to hear anymore… all that needed to be said was said. When Pearl stopped at the clinic for a complete vetting, it was apparent that she had had several litters in her short life. Pearl also had a severe skin infection (staph). She was brought up to date on her vaccines and spayed. It was also discovered that Pearl had a UTI and crystals in her urine. She was put on an antibiotic for the UTI and a special diet to address the crystals. After monitoring the situation, we got the GREAT news that Pearl would not need to continue being on the special diet. After several months with her foster family and some much needed weight gain, Pearl was a new lady and ready to take on the world.
There where many applicants interested in Pearl so the decision to whom would adopt her, was a very difficult one. However, Pearl made the decision a little bit easier on us humans. After surviving the approval gauntlet, Pearl’s forever Mom was cleared to do a Meet and Greet. During the Meet and Greet is was obvious that Pearl was smitten. She had found her forever Mom and there was nothing we could do to change her mind. And as they say… the rest is history. Congratulations to both Pearl and her forever Mom, a true match made in heaven.
10/1/2019 Update:
Sweet little pearl has been doing so well! She is finally getting chunky and gaining some much needed weight. Pearl’s foster mom found some good deals on new toys so now her toy grate is filled to the top and she is able to get in there and take the toys out. Her new favorite is the football and the horse. Little p likes to take her sweet time when she is taken out to go potty she has to sniff for about 3 minutes in the same spot until she decides she can go potty. She loves her snuggles more than anything. She is such a sweet and fun girl!
9/22/2019 Update:
Little pearl has been so spoiled this last week! Between her foster mom and foster grandma pearl got 4 new toys, a new bone and a cow boy hat (that she is not a fan of!) She has torn three of her new toys up. She loves to take the stuffing out of her toys. She still continues to be such a sweet little girl with such a huge personality! She also got a bath this week! As soon as she was done she flew out of the tub and began her zoomies around the entire house!

5/4/2019 Update:
Please welcome Pearl to No Borders Bulldog Rescue. Pearl is a 2 year old female French Bulldog that weighs 17lbs.
Pearl joins the NBBR family as an owner surrender. The family stated that they didn’t have time for Pearl anymore and were moving to a new place that did not allow pets. We didn’t need to hear anymore-all that needed to be said was said.
Pearl stopped at the clinic for a complete vetting. Pearl appears to have already had several litters in her short life. Pearl also has a several skin infection (staph). She was brought up to date on her vaccines and spayed. It was also discovered that Pearl has a UTI and crystals in her urine. This will require more antibiotics and a special diet. We will be monitoring the crystals to determine if the special diet will be a temporary thing or Pearl will need to be on this long term.
Pearl is a spunky little lady. When you initially meet Pearl she is very energetic, but she does calm down eventually. When she was on her journey to the clinic, she jumped around for the first 15 minutes and then settled in for a quick nap. Everyone that met Pearl at the clinic quickly fell in love with her. When you meet Pearl you quickly notice that she is very thin and needs to gain a few pounds. With petite ladies like Pearl, it doesn’t take much weight to go from thin to “what is she eating”, so we will be monitoring her food intake to get her to the perfect weight for her girlish figure. She will be ready for bikini season in no time. Pearl will be joining her foster family soon and will be starting the journey to find the right home for her. In the meantime, Pearl will be enjoying the good life, where she is pampered and can learn to be the valued family member that she was always meant to be. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to cover not only Pearl’s medical expenses but all the other Rescue dogs in our care.
